STEAM-inspired, Play-based, Inquiry-based Curriculum
Our children’s learning environment plays a significant role in their brain development, their independence, confidence, and their overall wellbeing. To prepare children for the “Age of Innovation”, we follow an exclusive STEAM-inspired, play-based, inquiry-based curriculum. This curriculum is research-based and standards-driven, supported by leading educational theories. It impacts the “Whole” child, by embracing every moment as an opportunity to learn. It is designed to educate and empower children of all abilities.
Close Observation and Regular Assessments
Close observation and regular assessments allow our educators to individualize and personalize the delivery of our curriculum. This allows children to learn in their own way, at their own pace, with the guidance of our talented team of educators. Through Intentional Planning, teachers use these assessments, as well as their knowledge of children’s interests, to customize Weekly Lesson Plans so learning goals are personalized for every child.
Our Curriculum Focuses on Reaching Milestones in the 5 Major Areas of Development
Social & Emotional Development
Includes understanding and controlling emotions, developing empathy, building relationships, appreciating human diversity, and gaining self-confidence.
Cognitive Development
Refers to the process of learning, reasoning and problem-solving.
Physical Development
Fine and gross-motor skills, and use of the five senses
Self-Help
Self help skills are behaviors or activities performed by your child which lead to them developing more independence and autonomy. Such skills include personal hygiene, dressing, cleaning up, and helping with chores. We believe that children need to master age-appropriate skills to build self-esteem, confidence, and trust in themselves.
Communication & Language
Is all about verbal and non-verbal communication, plus the early skills needed to read and write!
Our Curriculum also Focuses on School Readiness
Expressive Arts & Design
Singing songs, making music, dancing, playing with colors, textures and designs are all ways used to develop children’s imagination and creativity.
Numeracy
Children learn numbers, patterns, counting, adding and subtracting to engage with problem solving and be capable and confident to use mathematics in real life.
Literacy
Children are provided with a wide range of reading materials, books and songs, to develop their literacy skills. They are encouraged to link sounds and letters and to begin to read and write!
Science & Technology
Your children will develop their skills of observation, prediction, critical thinking and discussion needed to succeed in the 21st century.
Understanding of the World
This involves guiding children to make sense of their physical world and their community through opportunities to explore, observe and find out about people, places, technology, and the environment.
